Ad formats

There are three ad formats to choose from. Each ad duration will be for one month. Bulk pricing is available upon request for lengthier ad campaigns.

Link Ads: Ads Space Available
This is one of the simplest to implement; you send us the URL and the link text for your ads. Examples of link ads can be found on the left column of this page.

Link Ads texts are displayed in small frames either to the right or left panel of every page. (about 300,000 impressions per month).
Each text link can have its individual hyperlink. The text must fit one line (approximately 20 characters).

Article Graphic: Ads Space Available
One graphic-based ad spot featured after related article or book review links.

Ad size: 500x60 / 468x60
Up to four ads randomly rotated across all article pages.
An ad can be locked in (essentially purchasing all 4 ad rotations).
The slot may use an IAB standard 468x60 banner or may take advantage and use the full 500 pixel width.

Site-wide Graphic Ad
Two graphic-based ad spots to appear on all pages within the Onyxtic.com site (includes home page, category pages, and comment pages)

Ad size: 120x90
Up to four ads randomly rotated per spot.
An ad can be locked in (essentially purchasing all 4 ad rotations for a single spot).

Bottom Text Ads
Bottom text ads are short text (max 20 characters x 4 lines) randomly displayed in the same spot on every page just before the copyright footer.

NOTE: If you'd like to have the traditional 125x125px gif/jpg banner ads placed, please let us know and we could arrange to have it placed on any page(s) where applicable.

Things to keep in mind

All ads will require approval before going live. No animated GIFs or Flash animations. Graphics may be provided in GIF, JPG, or PNG formats.
If ad capacity is below 100% for a given format, your ad will receive a higher ad rotation free of charge. In other words, if only 3 out of 4 ad spots were sold, the 3 ads will share the rotation for the month.
All payments can be made via Paypal. Alternate payment methods can be arranged upon request.
Campaigns can be started at any time of the month and are only limited by ad spot availability. For example, if a campaign is started on the 7th of the month then the campaign will end on the 7th of the following month.
