Well, Nothin' Humorous Here!

This is very interesting and funny so I put it up here for laughs.

Ok, ok...I know you were looking for something humorous here, but I changed my mind just before you clicked on the link. Now what I have here are things that are dear to me. I've listed them here but not in any particular order.

As strange as it may seem, I do have a few interest outside of computers and technology, and this page lists some of them. Well, it tries!

Java Web User Group: I am a very committed member of the group; in fact am in charge of promotions and announcements. Which means that I am responsible for the message that goes out on the internet. I ensure that we reach the right people and in most cases, I talk to organisations and try to get them invloved.

Linux: as a Linux certified professional, I spend some of my free time helping people with Linux related problems. Again, this is something that I really enjoy and I find it to be remarkably rewarding..
Besides, I even have Ubuntu Linux CD/DVD's on my desk and some times in my bag that I hand to people who are in need of open source operating system. For the record - Ubuntu is my Distro of choice.

Motor Neurone Disease Aid Foundation: This is a charity that I support during my free time. If you have never worked with a charity or have never given your time to help anyone before, please I recommend you try it. There's nothing more fulfilling than giving your time and energy to help others. But if like most people, you don't have the time...you could consider donating a small amount to them. This charity and most others run exclusively on donations from people and their budget is always very tight. So, please..please consider donating to help these charities.

Update: Unfortunately, due to lack of adequate funding, the MND had to close :-(

All things Evans: This is not really something I thought I would do here, but having seen some sites where something of this sort is done, I thought it wouldn't cost me anything to start mine. So here we are! Am now keeping a list of all the sites that are published by people that answer to that name.
