Hello and nice to see you! My name is Evans, and this is my little piece of the Internet and in it, I plan to use it to help others learn how to write software using Java Technology. Well, am not going to be teaching you the history of Java as such, but we will be going through the more advanced stuff. We will be looking into how to develop software for hand-held devices with Java Micro Edition, known as J2ME and its APIs. In this first installment, we go through everything you need to know to get started developing in the J2ME environment. This includes installing the tools, and how to test your installtion so that we can start coding. Finally, we will dive right into coding some real applications to see them in action.
